Joni Orme may not have been born and raised in Hampton Roads, but to her, it feels like home. And that’s what makes Hampton Roads so special to Joni. As a military spouse, Joni moved around a lot—14 times in 16 years, to be exact! But when they landed in Hampton Roads, something just felt right. When Joni decided to become a real estate agent, she knew she could be a great resource to families because of her experience with moving so frequently. She understands not only the physical aspects of moving, but the emotional and mental impact it can have on a family. To Joni, feeling supported and encouraged during the home buying/selling process is crucial. Which is exactly why she chose to join the OWN family. “I decided to join OWN because I feel like they truly care about their agents. The resources they provide, as well as the encouragement and culture, are unmatched!” When she’s not working in real estate, Joni is all about spending time with her husband and their four children (three boys and one girl). She’s a big Nebraska Volleyball fan, loves indoor plants, and enjoys spending time at the beach.
