ARIEL KADY

Ariel Hankerson brings creativity, discipline, and a strong sense of community into her real estate practice. Originally from Massachusetts and having spent over a decade in Florida, Ariel now proudly calls Virginia home. She is a longtime dancer and instructor, holding an associate degree in Dance from Dean College, and has spent 25 years dancing and 16 years teaching. Today, she teaches dance classes weekly in Virginia Beach while raising her two children, Mylah and Indie.

Ariel’s path to real estate was driven by curiosity and commitment. After completing her real estate coursework in late 2024, she gained valuable industry insight while working as a title agent, where she learned the transaction process from contract to closing. Combined with her own recent experience purchasing her first home, Ariel offers clients a well-rounded perspective and a clear understanding of what it takes to navigate a smooth buying or selling experience.

She chose to join OWN Real Estate for its strong culture of mentorship, collaboration, and active, high-performing agents. Drawn especially to the supportive community of women within the brokerage, Ariel was inspired by the shared drive for growth and excellence. She is excited to build her business alongside a team that values connection, learning, and success, both individually and collectively.
