Many locals know Kevin as the “unofficial Mayor of Norfolk” but here’s a little background in case you haven’t heard his story! Kevin got into Real Estate because his mom told him to. He bought his first home when he was 22, a small condo in Virginia Beach. He watched his mom work tirelessly as a single mom while he was growing up, all while being the neighborhood mom to many other kids. Her work ethic and servant’s heart definitely rubbed off on him. When he got out of the Navy at 24 years old, he listened to her and earned his license and partnered with a close friend who owned a local boutique real estate company that was ready to take on the booming market that we all felt coming in 2005. Her advice was golden–Kevin has not only become an accomplished realtor but is OWN Real Estate’s Manager of Training and Mentorship. In addition, Kevin is a multi-million dollar sales professional, Military Relocation Professional (MRP), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), and Short Sale Foreclosure Resource (SFR), and has also received numerous HRRA Circle of Excellence Awards: Individual Diamond (2021 & 2020), Small Team Platinum (2018 & 2019), Individual Platinum (2017), Individual Gold (2016), Small Team Diamond (2015) and Small Team Platinum (2014 & 2013). Kevin genuinely loves to help people solve problems and reach their goals- real estate related or otherwise. His job as a Realtor provides him with the opportunity to do just that while at the same time providing a good living for his family. Kevin has firsthand experience balancing the demands of providing world-class real estate services and the demands of being a husband and father, as he and his wife celebrated the birth of their first child, Logan, just a little over a year ago! He loves the flexibility in his calendar that has afforded him the ability to manage maximum time with his family while helping them reach their financial goals today and for years into the future.
