PAUL JUDD
"My journey in to real estate has taken a long and winding path.
After graduating undergrad in my home state of Georgia, I did a stint as
newspaper reporter before moving to Virginia to attend seminary at
Regent University. What I thought would be just a brief three year stop
in the Old Dominion ended up being over 20 years and counting. And
I’m glad I stayed. I met my wife, had three kids, and found a wonderful
community of people. We’ve grown to love this area. And while I’ve
pastored a few years, much of my work in my time here has been in
sales and service in the automotive industry. I was attracted to real
estate because it provides the opportunity to use these experiences and
learned skills to provide high level service and care during a unique and
sometimes stressful season in a person’s life.
Most of my life outside of work revolves around my beautiful
family, whether it is sporting events, ballet recitals, choral recitals, and
other school activities. And when we are not navigating our kids’
schedules, we enjoy getting outside, whether it is for a walk, to play ball,
bike ride, kayaking, or hiking. Movie night is also a big hit on the
weekends.
I was first attracted to Own because of the commitment they have
to the growth and success of their agents, not only professionally but
personally as well. They’ve built a strong culture that emphasizes
community and team work, and which employs a value system that
seeks to impact lives through top notch service. This sense of purpose
and mission was evident in my early discussions with agents and
brokers at Own, and I wanted to be a part of it."
