WANDA HARRIS

Wanda's journey with Real Estate began over 30 years ago.  Her start began as a Real Estate Office Manager where she quickly discovered her fascination in the world of real estate and how it made a positive impact in people's lives.  This experience ultimately opened the door for her to accept a position as a Director's Assistant at one of the world's largest Commercial Real Estate companies, Wal-Mart Realty.  Here she had the privilege of working directly with Commercial Real Estate Agents, Developers, and Directors who managed large-scale corporate real estate.

In 2000, she left the corporate world after feeling led to serve in full-time ministry to help others in need.  In 2016, she relocated with her husband and family to Virginia Beach to be closer to her brother (and family) who recently retired from the U.S. Navy.  Wanda then found her way back into real estate where she became a successful Residential Property Manager for a thriving company in Virginia Beach.  Through hard work and determination she increased their residential portfolio by 40% in her first year, but her most rewarding experience was learning more about the military community and how she could assist them with their relocation needs.   Today she is a full-time Realtor where she uses her drive, determination, and love of real estate to passionately serve buyers and sellers in need of quality, hands-on service.  

Wanda chose OWN Real Estate because of their faith-filled leaders, friendly culture, and focus on positively impacting others.  She is a graduate of Cranford Business College and when she's not working, she's spending quality time with her husband, large blended and diverse family, and grandchildren who are the absolute joy of her life!  Although she was born and raised in the mid-west, Wanda always dreamed of one day moving to a friendly coastal community where she could enjoy sandy beaches, cool vibes, and breathtaking views to enjoy with her family.  Today she is living out this dream in Coastal Virginia and is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to return to the amazing world of real estate where she's able to help others unlock their dreams of home ownership.
